The legendary Pelion train ride is one of the most beautiful journeys, in steam trains of 1902 or 1912 and 4 wooden carriages with galleries, on one of the narrowest railway tracks in the world (only 60 cm wide). Built 120 years ago, it still whistles today, marking the start of an unforgettable ride.
With Ano Lechonia as your starting point and the famous Milies as your destination, the ride lasts about 90 minutes.
Traversing through verdant slopes and offering breathtaking panoramic views of Pagasitikos, this route winds across charming stone arches and crosses a total of eight stone bridges, ranging from two-arched to five-arched, as well as a remarkable metal bridge designed by Evaristo de Chirico.
